OUR STORY
We are Erwin & Charlotte, the founders and owners of la boutique PARIS. Thank you for visiting our online boutique. We would love to share our story with you. Let’s start where it all began.
Do you have an item you have always wanted to have? For me (Charlotte), this was the Chanel Classic Double Flap handbag. Once I spotted this beauty online, I could not get it out of my head and decided to start online treasure hunting for it. But of course, this had to be a vintage model, as they have the best quality. But while scrolling online, I found out this was easier said than done. It was quite hard to find my perfect vintage dream bag. A more difficult task than we thought it would be because vintage designer pieces are rarer and it’s harder to find a real pearl.
Lucky for me, I had Erwin helping me out to hunt for my ultimate dream bag. And we found it! Not long after that, friends and family around us started to wonder where we found this handbag. This is how Erwin got the honour to go on a vintage treasure hunt for several people. Did you know the demand for unpainted, authentic, and hardly used vintage designer bags is quite high, while the supply is still quite small? This is why we decided to focus on vintage pieces in their original state. This way we can help people find and obtain their dream designer item!
